Two days too late, but better late than never!
We're all lucky to be existing in a time where it's possible that an African-American man, with a Kenyan father and a working-class mother, becomes elected president of a country as powerful as the United States. And I think that only accents how powerful they really are, not because of anything as much as the fact that the people were in charge. The people chose. And they chose Barack Hussein Obama. Whether it's for mere change or because they actually believe in him, his vision and are supportive of his program, they chose a man who, to many people, represents (in many ways) a minority. But they rose above that, and all their differences. The sick cycle of bigotry has been broken when it was announced that he won. And for this, many congratulations are in order..
